To properly address the various chosen aspects of IPV, we utilized a variety of tools to clean and analyze the data effectively. We initially employed OpenRefine and Breve to organize the dataset to ensure accuracy and consistency. OpenRefine facilitated in handling messy data by correcting inconsistencies and eliminating duplicates or missing values. Breve aided in standardizing the format of our data. As we proceed to the visualization and analysis phase, we used Tableau public to create comprehensive statistical charts that illustrated patterns, correlating factors, and key trends within our dataset. From this, we employed Timeline JS to construct a detailed narrative that highlights the significant historical events and developments related to domestic violence within spousal relationships in a chronological manner. Lastly, we leveraged Palladio to create an extensive map that showcased the intensity and geographical distribution of IPV cases globally to facilitate in creating a spatial analysis of our data. Overall, these tools enabled us to conduct an extensive examination of the multifaceted factors and effects of intimate partner violence.
